Machine Operators

National Envelope Corporation, the largest privately held manufacturer of envelopes, is currently recruiting for Envelope Machine Operators for the 2nd and 3rd shifts at its Elk Grove Village, IL location. Shift hours are as follows:

2nd Shift – M-F - 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

3rd Shift – M-F – 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Envelope Machine Operators assist with machine set-up, assemble shipping cartons, pack envelopes, pull samples, perform quality checks and maintain all paperwork regarding the job and quality process as well as assisting in routine machine maintenance.

Previous manufacturing experience working in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required. High school diploma or equivalent, good communication skills, basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler are required. Must be able to work at a rapid pace and frequently lift and/or move up to 55 lbs.

Machine Adjuster

National Envelope Corporation, the largest privately held manufacturer of envelopes, is currently recruiting for an experienced RA-Web Machine Adjuster for the 2nd shift at its Elk Grove Village, IL location. Shift hours are as follows:

2nd Shift – M-F - 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Machine Adjuster responsibilities include set-up, troubleshooting and sustaining of operations of the envelope manufacturing machines. Duties also include routine maintenance as well as mechanical diagnosis and repair of equipment, registration control, materials usage, quality control and teamwork.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years previous envelope adjuster experience working on FL Smith or W&D equipment. Must possess excellent communication, mechanical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills, ability to work and meet deadlines with minimal direction and the ability to change tasks and direction quickly depending on business needs. Must be able to work at a rapid pace and frequently lift and/or move up to 55 lbs.
