SHIPPING & RECEIVING SUPERVISOR

National Envelope Corporation, the largest privately held manufacturer of envelopes, is currently looking for an experienced Shipping & Receiving professional to join our team in Exton, PA as a Shipping/Receiving Supervisor.
The successful candidate will be a proven, results-oriented team leader with understanding of manufacturing distribution practices. The supervisor will be responsible for scheduling all shipping orders including distributing manifests, routing trucks and checking orders along with receiving inventory; supervises and assists with entering orders and inventory received in the JDE system; monitors bale trucks and trash dumpsters and manages pick up cycle process. Communicates and works closely with staff involved in the daily shipping activities, supervises all shipping and receiving employees. Completes performance reviews of departmental staff, approves and schedules vacation time arranging backup coverage, guarantees cycle counting process is utilized and discrepancies are validated. Performs job function in a safe manner by adhering to all safety rules and regulations
Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years manufacturing/shipping experience. Must be or be able to become certified to operate material handling equipment; detail-oriented; possess excellent written and verbal communication skills along with basic math skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI); experience using JDEdwards a plus.
